Blue Thread

It started with having blue thread in the machine.  So I grabbed my aqua scraps and started piecing.

I had a lot of strings so for one section after piecing I cut 3.5″ squares, spun them 90 degrees, and sewed them together again.  After one evening, I had three panels.  After the second evening,  there was 5 panels and two handles.

I changed the dimensions slightly from the one hour basket,  and I’m planning that using the individual panels keeps this more square.   Isn’t appropriate to be able to store my scraps in a basket made from scraps?

Oops, my camera was set on selective colour.  Let’s try that again.

What colour should I make next?  Linking to Scraptastic Tuesday and TGIFF with Chezzetcook Modern Quilts.
