On ringo lake continues

Step #5 of the mystery quilt by Bonnie Hunter continues with another set of flying geese. This time I diverged from the directions to make these using the four-at-a-time method. A few here, a few there, and by Christmas night only a few left to make.

We didn’t get the amount of snow called for on Christmas Day, so we had a lovely walk, and even heard a couple of Christmas songs coming from the carillon at one of the local churches, a wonderful sound at any time of year.

Christmas dinner was a boneless lamb roast in the instant pot, with veggies and potatoes, then lemon meringue pie for dessert. Simple and very good. How about all of the clues together?

Linking up to Quiltville’s Quips and Snips for Mystery Tuesday.

  1. The mystery continues…but your blocks look mighty fine! Your Christmas dinner sounds delicious, especially the lemon meringue pie…yum!

    1. And the best part about hosting is keeping the leftovers…

  2. Your blocks are coming together nicely.

    1. Thanks, I’ve got more to make now that the design has been revealed If i had known what the layout was going to be, I would have swapped the aqua and pink, but hey, it’s a mystery!
