Finish-A-Long Goals for Q4

Welcome back!  My finishing ability improved in Q3 compared to Q2, with 2 finishes — my EPP pillow, and my 241 tote.  But I am bound and determined to get the rest done this quarter  (You’re dreaming, Lisa.  Stop that! Go big or go home, that’s the rule this quarter.)

New this quarter:

Camouflage jacket for my daughter — all cut out, just needs a couple of evenings to sew together. I need to make this before she grows out of it.
All cut out, now to sew!

Christmas tree pants–this actually went under the tree incomplete last year (it needs a bit more quilting plus the binding). Don’t tell me you wouldn’t have done the same thing.

Ruby Lou doll for my daughter. Not much left to finish, but it’s been 3 months since I started it. She picked out the fabrics.

First, the Sew Serendipity lunch bucket bag.  — no progress

Bonnie Hunter 2012 mystery quilt, Easy Street.  I managed to get one more block pieced, but this part is pretty tedious. Bonnie will be doing another mystery soon, but I probably should sit this one out. It was fun, but a lot of work at a busy time of year.

Christmas throw–I’ve decided on the quilting pattern based on this quilt, and bought a nice variegated thread, but otherwise no progress.

  1. Enjoy all your projects : )

  2. Hee hee… I would totally use something that wasn’t finished under the tree! I have been using my red wedding table runner wrapped around the bottom for almost 8 years now – it’s become a sentimental memory… not sure if I’ll ever change it!
